Police are looking for two men that were caught on video reportedly breaking into a car.
The theft took place on Thursday outside a residence in Waterkloof.
The men, driving a white VW Polo, can be seen parking next to a black vehicle on Milner Street.
The pair exits the car, seemingly to check whether there are any valuables in the other vehicle.

One walks towards the black car, breaks the window and takes something out of the car, while the other waits in the Polo.
The pair fled the scene before the owners of the black vehicle came running.
Police spokesperson Captain Colette Weilbach said the men made off with a laptop.
“We are investigating a theft out of a motor vehicle.”

Weilbach said police in Tshwane central was experiencing an increase in theft from motor vehicle cases.
She said a number of cases were reported in which spare wheels and valuables were stolen from vehicles out of vehicles in Brooklyn, Garsfontein, Sunnyside, Villieria, Pretoria Moot, Silverton and Lyttelton.
“Some of these cases are so bizarre that it seems as if criminals have X-ray vision.”
“Only the vehicles, in which laptops and cellphones were left behind, were broken into.”

She advised motorists to invest in anti-theft devices such as spare wheel locks.
“Apart from deterring thieves, it will also save motorists costs in replacements and repairs.”
