Vibrant new principal to start at top Pta school

Pretorians are excited that a new principal will be starting at a popular highschool.

It was with great excitement that Hoërskool Waterkloof revealed its new principal earlier this week.

The school announced on Monday that Chris Denysschen, current principal at Hoërskool Ben Vorster in Tzaneen, will be joining the Klofie family in the beginning of December.

Denysschen told Rekord he considered himself to be “a glass-half-full kind of guy who enjoys the simpler things in life”.

“I consider myself a city mouse but also carry a deep appreciation for the countryside,” said Denysschen.

Denysschen was born in Fochville and grew up in Carltonville. He completed his studies at the Potchefstroom campus of the North-West university.

He also enjoys sport, arts and culture and the theatre.

“Attitude determines altitude” is his life motto and he swears by the “life waits for no man” lifestyle.

Denysschen described himself as a down-to-earth man who enjoys McDonalds from time to time, he listens to Jo Black’s music and he “even sits through romantic comedies”.

Students will only get to meet Denysschen in January while school staff members look forward to meeting him when he starts in December.

The school promised to welcome Denysschen with an exciting ceremony, that exudes his new vision and mission for the school in the coming year.
