A motorist died and a passenger had to be rushed to hospital after their vehicle and a bus collided on Moloto Road on Tuesday.
Emergency service, Advanced Paramedic Assist (APA) was dispatched to the accident at 09:42 and on arrival declared the driver dead on scene and started the business of removing the entrapped passenger from the vehicle.
“The passenger was extracted, stabilised then transported to hospital with a humerus fracture under Advanced Life Support treatment by APA paramedic Johann Swart,” said APA spokesperson Renata Erasmus.
The exact cause of the accident is unknown at this stage.
