Mayoral Excellence Awards

The Gert Sibande Mayoral Excellency awards give the Executive Mayor of GSDM an opportunity to recognise the important contribution being made in various sectors across the District, with the help of its social and community partners.

The Awards are made in two parts, one being that of discretionary awards presented by the Executive Mayor, and the other, is that of awards made to deserving community members for outstanding achievements as nominated by members of the public.re
