Bishop invites people to conference
Temple of Faith invites residents to the Passover Conference from 18 to 20 April.
eMBALENHLE – Bishop Thokozani and Nomcebo Twala of the Temple of Faith Church invites residents to the Passover Conference from Friday, 18 to 20 April.
Bishop Twala said this conference is very special as the church will also celebrate five years of God’s grace.
He quoted from Hebrews 10:25 which says: “not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
He said: “The Passover is the holy and joyous festival that commemorates Israel’s deliverance from bondage in Egypt.
“But Pharaoh refused to let the Israelites go, so God told Moses He would strike every Egyptian home with the death of the firstborn.
“The Israelites were instructed to slay a lamb and “take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses” (Exodus 12:7) on that night.
Then God promised: “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.”
He said people should expect God to intervene in their various situations and to remember that the blood of Jesus Christ speaks on their behalf.
He also wished all dominations a happy Easter Conference and asked road users to drive cautiously as the roads will be busy.
The Temple of Faith Church service begins at 10am, the second service at 2pm and the last one at 6pm on Friday and Saturday and on Sunday at 9am.
