Osizweni Combined School remembers the less priviledged

Osizweni Combined School pupils, parents and staff extended their hands to help the poor.

eMBALENHLE – Osizweni Combined School pupils, parents and staff donated food parcels and clothes to the Isiphephelo Multi-Purpose Centre on Wednesday, 27 August.

Mr Johannes Zondo, principal, said this was a continuation of the Mandela Day campaign.

“We are also teaching our pupils to give and to make a difference in our community.

“It is our duty to educate them to take responsibility in social and community activities so that they will grow up being responsible.

“As a school we appreciate what this centre is doing in our community and we wish them best of luck and blessings as they continue to make a difference in people’s lives.”

He also thanked the school staff, pupils, parents and the School Environment Committee.

Grade 1 pupils cleaned the yard of the centre on the day of the handover.
