CeeBee visits Marietjie School

Caer is running an emergency number awareness campaign and visits local schools.

SECUNDA – CeeBee, the Community Awareness to Emergency Response (Caer) bear, is still on the road visiting his friends in schools and reinforcing the awareness messages and emergency numbers.

He visited Marietjie School with Messrs Gert Lubbe and Mandla Mbatha, firemen at Sasol Emergency Management, recently.

They demonstrated how to extinguish a fire and also showed pupils the various functions and equipment of the fire engines.

Pupils were encouraged to not extinguish fires themselves, but to rather call the emergency numbers at 107 or 112.

Marietjie Special School thanked Caer and CeeBee for their visit.
