Secunda Police Cluster pray for safety of police members

SECUNDA – The Secunda Police Cluster held a prayer day as part of Police Month on Monday, 29 September at the Secunda Round Church.
The purpose was to pray for the safety of police officers who risk their lives for others daily.
The police and the community prayed and worshiped together.
“The analysis of police murders on and off duty indicates an increase compared to the same period in the previous financial year,” said Lt Bettina Zondo, spokesman.
“The rise in the number of police officers murdered is of great concern and it affects everyone.
“The loss of a police officer is not only a loss to the police, but to the community as well.”
