Touch the Hem Secunda invites all women in the community
The day comprises of worship, fellowship, prayer, testimony, meditations and response times.
SECUNDA – Touch the Hem of His Garment will be holding a prayer day on Saturday, 25 October at 8am at His Way Family Church in Secunda for the healing for women who was conceived in 2008 in response to a direct call from God.
Pat Knight, founder, wrestled over this call under the mandate of God: “Let my women come, from the north, the south, the east and the west, tell them to come, just as they are, to touch the hem of My garment.”
The Bible in Luke 8: 48 records a story of a woman who was sick for 12 years who touched the robe of Jesus and was healed.
With the help of a women’ team, the first event was hosted at Bryanston Methodist Church almost nine months to the day in 2009 with over 450 women attending.
Touch the Hem is not a conference, it is journey into the healing heart of God where women can come and hear testimony from ordinary women sharing their life story into healing.
It is not recommended to come for the morning or afternoon only, but to set aside this day as your divine appointment to experience all it has to offer.
Touch the Hem is a non profit ministry and a donation of any amount to cover refreshment and lunch costs is for those who can afford it and if you do not have, just go anyway, all are invited.
“In the true spirit of Ubuntu in this ministry, we all come together as a community where those who have extra, help those who do not have by sponsoring someone and no one is left out,” said Ms Caroline Heimann.
No collection is taken on the day and there is no selling of any goods.
“Touch the Hem Secunda comes to you out of the love, compassion and outpouring of God’s love into the lives of all the women in this community,” said Ms Heimann.
“Our hearts being stirred upon having received such inner healing ourselves, we wish to share this life changing day with the greater community of Secunda.”
The day comprises worship, fellowship, prayer, testimony, meditations and response times as you journey deeply into the heart of God for healing in your lives.
“We are all very excited about God’s plan for the women of Secunda and if there is one invitation you should not turn down, it is this one, remember to come just as you are.”
