SECUNDA – Five former pupils from Secunda and Standerton received their letters on Tuesday 27 January confirming they have each been awarded to a full scholarship by the
Southern Highveld Community Development Trust which is sponsored by Graceland Casino, Hotel and Country Club.
The event took place at the Emperor’s Palace where the pupils got encouraged to reach for the stars.
They were thrilled that they were selected as the lucky recipients of a full scholarship from the Trust to further their studies at a tertiary institution this year.
Mr Vusi Zwane, executive at Peermont Corporate Affairs and CSI, handed over the stationery packs, laptops and scholarship letters.
