Top performances by the Ermelo athletes secured a first place overall for the school.

Laerskool Ermelo athletes who gave outstanding performances are Bongani Nkwebani (gold 1200m; gold relay; silver championship relay; bronze 100m; bronze 80m), Siyabonga Mnguni (gold highjump; gold relay; silver championship relay; silver 100m; silver 70m hurdles; silver 80m), Siyabonga Mngomezulu (silver longjump; silver 75m hurdles; silver 1200m; bronze 100m; bronze relay; bronze 80m) and Zimili Zwane (gold shotput; gold highjump; bronze championship relay; gold relay; silver longjump).

Athletes of Laerskool Ermelo excelled at an athletics meeting held at Laerskool Kallie de Haas in Standerton last week.

Top performances by the Ermelo athletes secured a first place overall for the school, outperforming the other four participating schools, Kalie de Haas, Standerton Primary, Laerskool Jeugkrag, and Morgenzon Landbou Akademie
