Bayanda’s eyesight improves

Ms Sibongile Mthombeni, HOD of the Foundation Phase at Igugulabasha Primary School, wants to thank Specsavers for donating spectacles to Bayanda Sibeko.

According Ms Mthombeni, Bayanda repeated Grade 1 because of his poor eyesight.

After the teachers realised that he can not see they moved him to the front row in class, but that did not help.

He also could not see the ball when playing with other children.

Ms Mthombeni later discovered that Specsavers can help him for free.

Bayanda’s eyes were tested and suitable spectacles were prescribed.

He now wears prescription glasses and his eyesight has improved.
