Update: Three from Bethal appear in court over drugs
Drugs are worth a million rand.

The men again appeared in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court today. One man got bail of R10 000 and the other two were denied bail. They remain in custody.
The case was postponed to Wednesday, 22 July.

BETHAL – The three men arrested yesterday in Blesbok Street over the manufacturing of dagga, appeared in court this morning.
Their case was postponed to 17 July to verify their status and to obtain either their passports or IDs.
They remain in custody.

BETHAL – Members from the Crime Intelligence, Organised Crime and the Secunda Bike Squad and police busted a house that appeared to be a drug lab.
This happened on Thursday, 9 July at 4.30am.
According to the members, they found Cat, crystal mat, meth and items used to manufacture drugs.
“All the drugs are worth a million rand,” they said.
Three Nigerian men were arrested and are still in the house.
Security forces said they received a tip off that they must search the house in Blesbok Street.
The Ridge Times spoke with the owner of the house.
She said the men were renting the house for R6 600.
“They always paid the rent on time and I did not have any problems with them,” she said.
The men told her they worked in Hendrina and are not home during the day.
She also said they lived there for almost a year.
The men will appear in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 10 July.
