Vandals spray MD Coovadia Combined School
Anyone with information, must report it to the police.
BETHAL – Two classrooms of the MD Coovadia Combined School was vandalised and thieves broke into the library during the holidays.
A computer also got stolen out of the library.
Vandals emptied all the cupboards, spray painted everything, broke windows and threw the stationery on the floors.
According to Mr Kamlesh Morar, teacher, the police took their statements and forensics looked for fingerprints.
However no fingerprints were found.
Vandals gained entry through a window at the back of the classroom.
“I hope the vandals are caught,” said Mr Morar.
This was the second time this year that vandals had gained access to a school.
In the beginning of the year, Young Harvest Christian School was also vandalised.
The police are investigating.
Anyone with information, must report it to the police.
