Department of Health denies shortage of staff

A nurse at the hospital claimed that only two nurses work in each ward per shift.
This nurse said it is difficult to attend to all the patients because they cannot hear the patients when they need help
According to her, the hospital has six wards and each ward has about 13 cubicles and each cubicle has about four patients.
She also said when a nurse is attending to a patient in the first cubicle, she can not hear a patient calling for help in the last cubicle.
The provincial Department of Health denied that there is a shortage of nurses, saying the nursing department has the required number of staff.
