Women officials reach out to girls

“Girls, you must pray and have a relationship with God.”

BETHAL – Women officials from the Bethal Correctional Services recently visited Khwezi Primary School to donate sanitary towels and to reach out to the girls.

This was part of the officials’ outreach programme.

Women talked about drugs, bad friendships, puberty and personal hygiene.

“Girls must try to avoid friends who are a bad influence,” they said.

“Focus on education so that you can become someone one day.”

They said girls must be motivated and be positive, honest and friendly.

They also spoke about respect and how the pupils must respect the elderly.

Faith was also one of the topics and the women said it is important to go to church for moral development.
