LETTER: Expect cheap political shots
Angry community members gathered near the Sakhile Stadium and marched to the Lekwa municipal offices on 19 October in protest against the installation of smart meters.
The police kept a close eye on the protesters as they escorted them to the municipal main building.
No one from the municipality accepted the memorandum and as a result they decided to submit it to the records department.
Ratepayers and taxpayers are asking why Mr Linda Dhlamini mayor,was unavailable to accept it.
