Department of Health vows to improve service
The public complained they are not assisted, that nurses are rude and that some of their files get lost.

HIGHVELD – The Mpumalanga Department of Health will address concerns raised by the public that they are not being attended to on time when they visit health facilities.
This came after numerous complaints from patients at various health facilities, including local clinics and hospitals.
The public complained they are not assisted, that nurses are rude and that some of their files get lost.
Mr Dumisani Malamule, spokesman for the department, said despite these allegations, the department would like to ensure the public it is doing everything in its power to ensure patients are attended to on time.
“The department will not tolerate patients being neglected at our facilities and will leave no stone unturned to ensure this situation is corrected.
“The department would like to encourage the public to continue to bring forth any complaints that they might have regarding the provision of health services at the province’s health facilities.
“This will have a positive impact as it will help the department to correct any acts of wrongdoings.”
