Zama-zamas apprehend burglars to prove their innocence

Illegal miners went all out to prove their innocence after being accused of stealing from Lounics International (Pty) Ltd that is situated at Osizweni Development Centre.

This came after a company was broken into.

The Zama-zamas searched for the burglars, apprehended them and handed them to the police.

Some of the stolen items, such as computers, photocopying machines and tools, were recovered by the Zama-zamas.

Messrs Rapapa Monakeng, Theila Masilo and Thabo Kubu were arrested and appeared in the Evander Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 23 May.

The case was postponed to 1 June.
