Members of the South African Democratic Teachers Union (Sadtu) are picketing in Mpumalanga in protest of the current moratorium on filling of vacancies.

Standerton is no exception with teachers gathering since last Friday with a list of grievances.

They want permanent filling of posts and are waiting for the Department of Education to give them an answer.
