Washing cars at owners convenience
The mobile car wash has been designed to offer the unique service of having one's motor vehicles washed while enjoying the comfort of one's home or office instead of taking it someplace and waiting.
Isac Zitha, Steven Dludlu and Mduduzi Khumalo of Mobile Car Wash are washing cars at people’s homes to the joy of Ermelo residents.
The idea of having one’s motor vehicles washed while enjoying the comfort of one’s home or office instead of taking it someplace and waiting, is fast catching on, leading to the three men embarking on such a venture.
Since early in the year, the mobile car wash has been designed to offer this unique service.
With just a bucket and rag, the men started off small, walking to people’s houses, offering to wash their cars.
After numerous stops and starts, the business boomed, which saw them buying car-wash equipment, making the job easier and simpler.
“We saw the need for such a car wash in Ermelo. There are car washes at every corner in town; however, ours is not your old run-of-the-mill car wash. We come to your house and wash your car properly without you having to drive anywhere,” said Mduduzi.
It has not been smooth sailing for the pair, having to start up a business, walking to clients with all the equipment and having to sustain the business out of their own pockets.
All the hard work has paid off with Mobile Car Wash accumulating a loyal clientele with more people open to the idea of three men coming to their houses to wash the motor vehicles.
“It is still a small baby with just the three of us washing the cars, but hopefully it will grow then we can hire our own employees. We are just waiting for your call, so we can come running to wash your car,” said Isac.
