CPF nabs thief and recovers stolen television in Sakhile

Mr Kambwiri was overjoyed and thanked him.

The Community Policing Forum (CPF) returned Mr Kambwiri’s stolen television on 29 June. The property was stolen at Nyokeni Section in Sakhile on 27 June.

When Mr Rich Kambwiri arrived home back from work, he noticed that his door was broken.

“After I entered, I noticed my television set was missing along with a blanket,” Mr Kambwiri said.

According to his neighbour, a child witnessed the break-in and said he saw a man coming out of Mr Kambwiri’s house, carrying a television covered with a blanket.

Mr Kambwiri then contacted Mr Charles Msibi of the CPF and the Sakhile Police.

Mr Msibi found the alleged thief and discovered the television had already been sold.The television was later recovered.

Mr Kambwiri was overjoyed and thanked him. Mr Msibi urged residents to refrain from buying stolen goods and to report criminal activities to the relevant authorities.
