Police are looking for a mother who left her nine-month-old baby at a day-care centre two years ago in Pienaar in Mbombela (Nelspruit).
She allegedly introduced herself to a 70-year-old granny as Ms Mbali Maseko from Secunda or eMbalenhle.
The grandmother looks after children at the day-care centre.
She said she was in a hurry to get to work and would fetch the baby after work, but she never returned to the centre.
