Well-known eMbalenhle woman denies abandoning her child in Mbombela
She said those who are circulating these allegations, are liars and are seeking to tarnish her image.

Ms Mbalenzinhle Maseko denied and distanced herself from allegations that she abandoned her child in Pienaar, Mbombela (Nelspruit).
She said those who are circulating these allegations, are liars and are seeking to tarnish her image.
This came after the police recently released a press statement that they are looking for her, because she left her a child at a day-care centre.
Police alleged Ms Maseko left the child with a 70-year-old granny at the day-care centre and said she was in a hurry to get to work.
She said she would fetch the baby after work, however she did not return
According to the police, she allegedly called the granny recently and promised to deposit money so she can buy food for the baby.
Ms Maseko said: “I did not abandon my son, but left him there by agreement and I always go and see him.
“It is unfortunate that I cannot reveal some information on the media platform, because I have to protect me and my son.
“However, the old woman is not telling the truth, I love my son and will never abandon him.
“As you can see on my Facebook page, he is my cover page photo.
“I do not see a need to explain myself to the public about this, but will follow it up with the police.”
Capt Jabu Ndubane, Pienaar Police Station’s spokesman, said the granny allegedly questioned Ms Maseko on why she did not collect her baby, but she hung up.
“Her story does not sound true, however we communicate with her to hear the full version of what had happened.”
