Rumours of child abduction do the rounds in Sakhile

According to the rumour the teacher in question sent a schoolgirl with a note to a parked car outside the school gate to hand to a man who was sitting in the vehicle.

With so much fake news being reported by unreliable sources and fake websites, another rumour is currently doing the rounds in Sakhile.

It implicates a female teacher involved in child trafficking.

She is also supposedly part of a syndicate.

According to the rumour, the teacher in question sent a schoolgirl with a note to a parked car outside the school gate to hand to a man who was sitting in the vehicle.

The note allegedly read “here is the package”.

The man was then supposed to abduct the little girl, but the school principal intervened when he saw the girl on her way to the man’s car.

He told her she was not supposed be out of class and she explained the circumstances and handed over the note.

The suspicious man allegedly sped off.

It was said that the principal called the police and the teacher allegedly confessed to the allegations.

The Standerton Advertiser called the Department of Education’s circuit manager in town, Ms Yasmeen Mohamed.
