About 120 elderly people from Teksel Association recently went on a plant visit to Sasol.

Teksel includes old age and pensioner association from Trichardt, Evander, Kinross, Secunda, eMbalenhle and Leandra.

Sasol said the visit was aimed at engaging and building strong relations with its stakeholders, as well as exposing them to facets of its business.

The vice president of Corporate Affairs at Sasol Secunda Operations, Ms Maureen Mboshane, welcomed the elderly and acknowledged the vital role they play in shaping the country’s future through the wealth of wisdom they pass on to the youth.

The senior citizens enjoyed the day with lots of food and fun.

Sasol presented them with blankets as a token of appreciation.
