Standerton Lions Club will continue serving
In his outgoing address Mr Henri referred to his trepidation when leading a club that has been in the trenches for such a long time.
The Standerton Lions Club inducted Mr Donovan Henri as President at their clubhouse on 22 July.
Mr Henri emphasised that the club has the same vision, serving the community, than last year.
Mr Neil Havenaar introduced the dignitaries and full protocol was observed.
Before attendees sat down for a scrumptious dinner, Ms Louise Coetzee reported on the activities of the Willows Branch that is now formally part of the Lions Club.
“We worked hard and played hard, but I won’t report on that,” Ms Coetzee said.
