One girl’s dream warms Children of the Dawn
Learners, teachers, parents and staff from Mediclinic started crocheting blankets earlier in the year which resulted in 40 blankets being made.

Netherland Park Secondary School (NPSS) along with Ermelo Mediclinic handed over blankets to children supported by the Children of the Dawn in the Ermelo centre in honour of Mandela Day.
This comes after Nadia Ngcobo, a Grade 9 learner from NPSS, came up with the idea of giving the children a personal blanket instead of a store-bought one.
Learners, teachers, parents and staff from Mediclinic started crocheting blankets earlier in the year which resulted in 40 blankets being made.
The recipients were very happy with their blankets, folding them around their shoulders.
Sponsors that contributed to the cause were Pick n Pay Ermelo, Top Line Centre, Ermelo Mediclinic and Madness Art Café.
