The eMzinoni police are proud of two members who scooped up provincial awards recently.

The local police are proud of two members who scooped up provincial awards recently.

Const Cynthia Mtsweni received the SAPS Prestige award for successfully coordinating community events and projects.

It is the third award that Const Mtsweni has received in a row.

She received the Visible Policing Employee of the Year second runner-up award at the 2016 South African Police Services National Excellence Awards and in June the Secunda Cluster Visible Policing Employee of the Year Award.

“I would like to thank my colleagues, family and stakeholders for their support, as well as eMzinoni Police Station, especially when we do campaigns and projects for the community,” said Const Mtsweni.

W/O Jeremia Molefe received the second runner-up award in the Administration Employee of the Year category.

The police station management congratulated the two police officers.
