A man was arrested for possessing 86 packets of dagga during crime prevention and a stop and search at the Bethal taxi rank and the CBD.
The arresting officer, W/O Stanslaus Ndlovu, was on duty when he spotted the suspect next to the tavern and requested to search him.
That was when the dagga was found.
He was arrested and will appear in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court on charges of possession of dagga.
