Please be informed that Kinross’ water will be shut down from 11.30am until 2pm following the effect of low supplying pressure from Rand Water during their booster pump malfunction.
The reservoir at Kinross Thistle Grove is empty and cannot recover levels as the supply is below demand, and critical areas are affected with low pressure and do not have water.
The Govan Mbeki Municipality shut down the supply to fill the reservoir during this time.
