12 passengers hurt in taxi accident early this morning

SECUNDA – Twelve people were admitted to hospital after a taxi accident this morning.

The accident happened on the R546 Standerton road just outside Secunda.

The taxi apparently hit a vehicle that was standing next to the road after an earlier accident.

The taxi driver apparently lost control of his taxi and it rolled.

The passengers sustained minor injuries.

Twelve patients were transported to Evander Hospital by ER24 and Langamed South Ambulance Services.
