Cancer survivor dies of gunshot wound in hospital parking area

Mr Jiri Jedlicka, apparently of Polish heritage, died of a gunshot wound at 1pm this afternoon in a hospital parking area.

Trichardt police don’t suspect any foul play.

He apparently survived bladder cancer and was in remission.

According to the detective investigating the case, he has no relatives on record who they can contact to report his death.

The police urged anyone with information to contact their nearest police station.
