Thieves drop stolen metal on road between Secunda and eMbalenhle and cause accident

Alleged thieves caused an accident when they dropped metal beams on the road between Secunda and eMbalenhle.

They apparently panicked when motorists saw them carrying the metal. They fled the scene.

One vehicle was damaged when it drove into the metal at around 5am this morning, 25 August.

Local police confiscated the metal as evidence.

No injuries occurred.

Langamed South Ambulance Services attended to the scene.
