29 August – 2pm

Prepaid24 issued a message earlier today that no pre-paid tokens can be bought through Prepaid24 or at vendors.

The system is off-line until further notice.

Residents however, can make use of Prepaid24 and as soon as the municipality is online, the transaction will be processed and the token sent to the consumer.

The management of Prepaid24 apologised for the inconvenience.

According to information received, the Lekwa Municipality has been offline since Friday.

All attempts to find out what the exact problem is and when the system will be on-line again failed as the communications manager could not be reached telephonically.
