Four die in accident at New Denmark/Tutuka turn-off

According to Mr RG Singh, assistant Director of Traffic Management, Department Safety, Security and Liaison, road users must obey the road rules and pay attention to other road users.

Four people died and six people were injured when two vehicles collided on the R39 (Bethal Road) at the New Denmark/Tutuka turn-off at about 7.30pm on 28 August.

Messrs Sinki Moses Mokjawa, Mandla Nkabinde, Ms Anna Buthelezi and Mr Elfas Xaba died in the accident.

The injured were taken to the Standerton Hospital.

Emergency services attend to the accident scene.

Five patients were discharged and one was transferred to Kalafong Hospital.
