Mr Bheki Kubheka, spokesman of the Govan Mbeki Municipality, said in a statement electricity has been restored to the whole of eMbalenhle.
“We are supplying a temporary line with one transformer.
“Please be aware that the one transformer is not sufficient to supply the whole town.
“During peak hours, the situation might worsen and can be dangerous.
“This might warrant loadshedding in many extensions.
“Let me suggest that those who are at home, cook now to avoid overloading and the burning of the one transformer.
“Our sincere apology for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.”
