Suspect caught slaughtering goat allegedly stolen from a local farmer

Suspect to appear at the Bethal Magistrates Court soon

eMZINONI – A man was arrested after he was caught with a slaughtered goat allegedly stolen from one of the local farmers on Tuesday, 5 September.

He was caught by the local stock theft committee while they were doing regular patrol in the area.

They contacted the police and the suspect was arrested immediately.

The committee are concerned over their livestock that are stolen daily.

They urged locals to help them find the criminals and not to buy stolen stock.
