The water crisis and sewage spillages continue to be big frustrations and problems in the area.
Concerned residents said the Govan Mbeki Municipality is collapsing bit by bit.
They said service delivery is deteriorating daily as the municipality is drowning in Eskom and Rand Water debts.
Residents had several water cuts in Leandra and some parts of eMbalenhle in the past weeks.
They said it is sad that the poor performance of the Govan Mbeki Municipality is now affecting the future of learners because whenever there is not water, schools have to be closed.
Extension 15 residents in eMbalenhle feel the municipality is undermining them, because when there is a problem in eMbalenhle, it affects only them.
Residents of Gate 7 complained about bad roads.
They said these roads put their lives in danger because ambulances, police vehicles and fire trucks cannot get to the area when they are summoned.
