An armed robbery occurred in Extension 22 in Secunda this morning, 9 October at about 8am.
According to eyewitnesses, two motorcycles were stolen.
One was abandoned in a ditch and the other one was loaded into a taxi.
Capt Bettina Zondo of Secunda Police confirmed the theft.
She said the police are investigating and that nobody has been arrested yet in connection with the case.
The registration number of the taxi that the motorcycle was loaded into, is 717 MP according to an eyewitness.
