On behalf of the Lekwa Local Municipality, and the community of Lekwa, the Mayor the Mayor Cllr LindaDhlamini would like to convey sincere best wishes to the Grade 12s of 2017.
They are embarking on a route, which would ultimately determine their future.
How they perform in these examinations sets the course for their future.
Throughout this year we saw evidence that our schools are indeed working.
We saw the strengthening of a partnership between learners, teachers, principals and school governing bodies in an endeavor to ensure that conditions are in place for effective learning and teaching.
According to the Mayor Cllr Dhlamini he would like to encourage the grade 12s to prepare thoroughly for the examinations, focus on their goals and keep their dreams in sight.
Allocate adequate time for studying, whether it be alone or with study groups, to ensure that you are well-prepared for the day’s exam.
Keep away from over-indulging in social media and time with friends but also make sure you have plenty of rest and exercise to keep your mind sharp.
Let your hard work propel you to a speed so fast that good luck has no choice but to ride with a winner like you.
All the best for your exams.
We are also confident that this year’s Grade 12s will again make us proud.
