A suspect tried to bribe a police officer in eMzinoni with a thousand rand after he was found possessing dagga in Tambo Section recently.
The officer did not accept the bribe and arrested the suspect who was found with 16 small plastic bags of dagga and R4 400.
Officers were doing regular patrols when they received the tip off that the suspect was dealing in dagga.
They commended locals for working with them in fighting crime in the area.
The suspect will appear in court soon.
