Kinross bus services get interdict against taxi association after members set buses alight

Bus company members get interdict against taxi owners.

Members of Kinross bus services got an interdict against the taxi association recently.

This was after members of the taxi association set buses alight and caused havoc in Kinross two weeks ago.

According to Sgt Jaco Nagel, spokesman of Kinross Police Station, the taxi association members were angry because a bus company from KwaZulu-Natal got a contract to transport learners to school in the Kinross area.

The taxi association said this contract should have been awarded to local companies.
