Support Ridge Times and Highveld Social Services with food donations
Donate food and help needy families.
The Ridge Times is taking hands with Highveld Social Services to help them to collect food.
Some of these services, including Rata, recently handed out their last food and now have to send people away empty handed or with very little food.
They bought food to the value of R20 000 recently, but it was finished within two weeks.
“The demand for people who need food is very high,” said Ms Sonia Smit, social worker at Rata.
The SAVF hands out the most food to people every Wednesday and they are also in need of food urgently.
These organisations not only hand out food, but toiletries and clothes as well.
If you want to support them, drop food off at their offices or at the Ridge Times’ office.
