Four suspects were denied bail in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on 14 and 15 November for the alleged murder of Mr Jabulani Mahlangu (47).
Mr Mahlangu’s body was discovered in the stream separating Rooikoppen and Wela-Mlambo on 9 November.
According to the Sakhile Police, a passerby noticed the body floating in the water and immediately called them.
“The deceased had four visible wounds respectively to his cheek, nose, left eye and forehead,” Const Duduzile Zwane, communications officer of the police, said.
