Prepaid electricity is available according to a press release from the Lekwa Municipality, as the new service provider is S3 Vending (provided by Synstell (Pty) Ltd).
They apparently began operating in Standerton on 7 December.

Prepaid electricity can also be bought online at sup.payportal.co.za
Ms Thobeka Mtshiselwa, communications manager, said the receipts should work on both the old prepaid meters well as the new smart meters.
She added that if there is a problem with a prepaid meter, it should be reported to the municipality.
