Restaurant — Two men robbed a restaurant at the Oriental Plaza and are still at large.

Mr Jannie Kasselman of Kasselman Security Services sent out a WhatsApp message this morning to alert residents of an armed robbery at the African Restaurant at the Oriental Plaza in Standerton.

According to the message the incident occurred at 7am with two suspects involved.

A firearm was allegedly used to carry out the robbery.

The suspects were described as one tall, wearing a blue overall and the other culprit, short, wearing blue jeans and a black top.

A silver BMW with unknown registration was used as the getaway vehicle.

Emergency personnel was dispatched to attend to a woman that was injured by the robbers.
