Unknown shooter fires three bullets in Paarl Street

Police located a vehicle that fitted the description, but did not have a warrant to search it.

An unknown shooter randomly fired three bullets in the air in Paarl Street on 17 December.

According to Mr Jandre Kasselman of Kasselman Security Services, they heard three shot in quick succession to each other.

When they went to check, they witnessed a white Volkswagen Fox speeding off.

Kasselman Security services found only two casing on the scene.

No one was harmed from the shots fired.

According to police they located a vehicle, fitting the description at a local tavern later that night.

“We unfortunately could not search the said vehicle, because we did not posses a warrant,” Cpt Fanie Nhlabathi, of the Standerton Police said.

No case was opened with the Standerton police.
