Standerton Magistrate’s Court postpones 10-year-old girl’s rape case

The girl was immediately taken to a doctor and subsequently to the Standerton Hospital.

The case where a man stands accused of raping his 10-year-old niece has been postponed to 16 January when he will again appear in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court.

According to a family member, the child’s mother became suspicious when she did the laundry and came upon the child’s underwear.

The girl was immediately taken to a doctor and subsequently to the Standerton Hospital.

According to Mr Charles Msibi of the Sakhile CPF, he received a tip-off from a community member about the incident.
