Four people injured when trains collide in Ermelo at depot

Four people were left injured this morning when two trains collided at a depot in Ermelo.

Four people were left injured this morning when two trains collided at a depot in Ermelo.

“We arrived at the scene and found four people walking around the trains,” a press release of ER24 stated.

Paramedics assessed the four patients and found that all four had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

According to the press release no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

The patients were treated on scene and were transported to Ermelo Mediclinic for further treatment.

It is understood that the two trains collided at low speed inside the depot.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
